ARTEMISIA APOTHECARY

  • Since all our medicines are lovingly handcrafted and freshly ground in small batches, they may take up to 10 working days to be prepared once you place an order. We appreciate your understanding and support for grassroots herbal medicine!

  • For domestic orders, our products are shipped via Australia Post from our Apothecary based in Uki, NSW. All orders within Australia are shipped Express with a flat of $15.

  • Yes, we do! We offer international shipping to most locations outside Australia. Due to global circumstances, Australia Post has suspended delivery to some locations, please check their website for more information HERE.

    Delivery Times

    This is a standard service and shipping times will vary depending on location. Delivery time frames are estimated from the time your order is dispatched from our Apothecary in Australia to its delivery in the metro location of your destination country. Delivery time frames do not include the time your package spends in customs. Please see the Australia Post website HERE for estimated delivery times.

    Please note: Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and other charges associated with their purchases. Before confirming your purchase it is advisable to check in with your local customs office to determine what additional costs your order may incur on arrival at your desired delivery destination.

  • Precious Pills: last for 2 years.

    Synergising Elixirs: last for 5 years.

    Superfood Manas: last for up to 6 months.

PRIVATE CONSULTATIONS

  • All sessions are claimable on private health insurance but discounted sessions are currently suspended, I'm sorry.

  • Dr Jimi is a highly experienced acupuncturist with over 20 years experience, but due the cost of a session with him, most clients seek ongoing treatment with someone who is more affordable, and use their time with him to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment protocol that includes diet, life-style and herbs. Just let me know in advance if you would like to use half of your first appointment for an acupuncture treatment however, and I will make a note.

  • Yes, you can! Dr Jimi offers both in person and online consultations (via Zoom). You are also welcome to record your session to revisit it later. In case Dr Jimi prescribes you a herbal protocol, we also ship internationally from our small apothecary.

  • Cancellation requires a minimum of 24 hours notice, otherwise payment in full is expected. Thank you for your cooperation in this regard.

  • Jimi is a Dr in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is a Registered Medical Practitioner with AHPRA which is the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. This agency covers Doctors, Dentists, Chiropractors, Psychiatrists and Vets all of whom are legally able to use the courtesy title of Doctor.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • Dr Jimi is passionate about person-centred care, ensuring that each treatment and consultation is perfectly tailored to the client and their individual body, condition and constitution. This is the foundation of truly holistic medicine. Without a proper consultation, it is impossible to give accurate and appropriate advice.

    Unfortunately, for this reason, Dr Jimi does not provide generic health advice on treatment for specific conditions. However, we would be happy to book you in for a consultation to discuss this matter further if you would like. Click here to book.

  • The only way to determine if your symptoms are indeed caused by the herbs is to discontinue them for 7-10 days. If the symptoms cease, then start the herbs again and see if they reoccur. If they do then either they are unfortunately not the right fit for your constitution and the dosage needs to reduce, or you need to discontinue them. Please feel free to stay in contact with us during this process, we are here to support you!

  • Sadly practically no herbal formulas are legally ‘breastfeeding safe’ due to insufficient funding to actually test them scientifically. Although these herbs are traditionally considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, we obviously can't actually recommend that you take them.
